STRATEGY FOR IMPLEMENTATING PREDICTIVE PROCESS-ORIENTED MACHINE TOOL DIGITAL TWINS

Process planning for the productive machining of complex shaped parts is a comprehensive activity where dynamic behaviour machine tool, workpiece and process setting has to be taken into account. The predictive process-oriented tool digital twin simulation enabling full control results with respect adjustment whole system process. paper defines describes four different levels such according its complexity. An overview key elements modelling techniques employed creating twins provided. strategy implementing as an enhancement NC chain presented. Selected use cases in field mould or thin walled blade are used method demonstrated.
